Russell Adams like most of his team
mates on ADM Motorsports grew up around the drag strip. And like
fellow team mate Derek Malcolm, Russ's father was a drag racer, in fact
still is. Russ began his racing career driving for his Dad John Adams
a many time Luskville Dragway track champ. Driving a 1970 Duster and
taking his fair share of win lights Russell always had the desire to
go faster, that opportunity came when ADM Motorsports Team owner
offered Russ a place on the ever growing race team. And with the
chance to drive one of the best winning cars in Canada, the Coors
Light Silver Bullet Dragster Russ jumped at the offer. So beginning
this season Russ Adams will make his debut in a rear engine dragster
and begin another part of his Drag Racing Career. 2005 Russ had what
many would consider a great first year in a dragster, winning three
events against some very tuff competition. This season will see Russ
in a brand new soft tail S&W Car which he believes will make him
an even tougher competitor. Russ by the way also operates his own
plumbing company John Adams plumbing and is a licensed plumber. |
